In this lesson you’ll learn to
- I pass sub-IDs for source and creative
- Postbacks are set up
- I use a tracker
- Conversions are sent back to ad platforms
Click IDs and sub-IDs
Pass identifiers in your tracking links (sub1, sub2…) for source, campaign, creative and keyword. Reports then show conversions by each.
Postbacks (server-to-server)
When a conversion happens, the network calls your tracker’s URL with the click ID and payout. More reliable than browser pixels.
Pixels
Browser-based conversion tags on thank-you pages. Simpler but affected by browser privacy features.
Trackers
Use a tracker to manage links, rotate landers, record costs and see profit by source.
Send results to ad platforms
Pass conversions back to Google, Meta and others (via Conversions API or offline uploads) so they optimise.
