In this lesson you’ll learn to
- I use Listen, Acknowledge, Explore, Respond
- I have responses to the top five objections
- I prevent common objections early
- I respect a clear no
The method: LAER
• Listen fully.
• Acknowledge — “That makes sense.”
• Explore — “Can I ask what’s behind that?”
• Respond — address the real concern.
Common objections
• “It’s too expensive.” — “Compared to what?” Clarify value, payment options or a smaller start.
• “I need to think about it.” — “Of course. What part are you weighing up?”
• “I need to talk to my partner/boss.” — “Makes sense. What will they want to know? Shall we set a time to talk together?”
• “Send me information.” — “Happy to. What would be most useful?” and book a follow-up.
• “We’re happy with our current provider.” — “Great. What would make it worth comparing?”
