The phone still books meetings faster than any other channel. Learn a permission-based opener, how to handle the top objections and how to leave voicemails that get callbacks.

In this lesson you’ll learn to

  • I prepare a trigger and result before each call
  • I use a permission-based opener
  • I have responses to four common objections
  • My voicemails are under 30 seconds
  • I log outcomes immediately

Prepare

Know who you are calling, their trigger and one relevant result for similar companies. Call when people are more reachable — often early morning and late afternoon. Screen numbers as required (Corporate TPS in the UK).

Common objections

• “Send me an email.” — “Happy to. So it’s useful, what’s the main thing you’d want to see?” (keeps the conversation going).

• “We already have a provider.” — “Most of our clients did. Out of curiosity, when does your current contract come up?”
