In this lesson you’ll learn to
- My headline says who I help and how
- My About section focuses on outcomes
- Connection requests do not pitch
- I post two to three times a week
- I avoid risky automation
Your profile is your landing page
• Professional photo and a headline that says who you help and how (“Helping dental groups end missed patient calls”).
• An “About” section focused on customer outcomes.
• Featured items: a case study, a guide, a short video.
• Recent activity — a few useful posts.
Connecting
Send connection requests to target contacts with a short, non-salesy note — or none. Mention something real: a post they wrote, a shared group, a mutual connection. Never pitch in the connection request.
Starting conversations
• Comment thoughtfully on their posts before messaging.
• Open with a question about their world, not your product.
• Share something useful (an article, a benchmark) when relevant.
• Move to a call only when they show interest.
Post consistently
Two or three posts
